About Friends of Jacksonville VTCFriends of Jacksonville Veterans Treatment Court (FOJVTC) is a group of veterans and civilians who have a heart for veterans for whom past military experiences coupled with life's challenges and law enforcement involvement, have derailed their mission of wellness.
The innate military camaraderie that occurs when veterans assist other veterans is the cornerstone of FOJVTC.
This 501C3 was created to address the unique needs of veterans who have had an interaction with the law resulting in an arrest and are living with service-related mental illness and/or substance use issues.
This recovery-oriented system of support also helps veterans by filling short-term, temporary financial gaps that may be barriers to success. FOJVTC supports mentor
What differentiates you from the competition?There is no competition for what we do. We just try to help Vets with getting better with their mental health and substance abuse problems so they can be valued members of society.
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?We offer help for Veterans: Mentoring and engagement to encourage Vets in getting help.
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?There is hope for everyone and many people who care.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?We need to get the word out to the community that Veterans Treatment Court works: we need to find more Veterans to apply for this program and to provide more donations so we can help Veterans with food/housing and transportation.
