Charity event pairs authentic Irish cuisine with local brews to benefit 6:8 Ministries

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FL – August 22, 2025 – Foodies Care invites the community to gather for Irish Tap & Table on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lynch’s Irish Pub, 514 1st St N, Jacksonville Beach, FL. This one-night event will showcase the spirit of Ireland through traditional dishes paired with craft beers—all while raising funds for 6:8 Ministries, a faith-based nonprofit transforming lives through mission experiences and local ministries in Costa Rica.

Guests will enjoy Irish favorites such as shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash, and freshly baked soda bread, each paired with a selection of beers ranging from smooth stouts to crisp lagers. Hosted in the heart of Jacksonville Beach at the beloved Lynch’s Irish Pub, the evening promises hearty food, lively music, and camaraderie in true Irish fashion.

“This event is about more than good food and drink—it’s about bringing people together for a cause that truly matters,” said Anne Ackerson, President at Foodies Care. “By supporting 6:8 Ministries, every pint raised helps transform lives through mission experiences and community outreach.”

Founded in 2006, 6:8 Ministries provides meaningful mission opportunities and outreach programs that empower children, families, and communities both locally and internationally. With a focus on compassion, education, and faith-driven service, the organization is committed to building brighter futures and lasting impact for those most in need.

Foodies Care also extends heartfelt thanks to the event’s generous sponsors, whose support makes Irish Tap & Table possible: Client Focused Media, Merrill Lynch, ABBQ, Driver McAfee Hawthorne Diebenow, Live Oak Contracting, Heritage Capital Group, Synovus Bank, Flagler College, HCA Healthcare, First Coast Collective, BizBuyPro, City of Jacksonville Military Affairs and Veterans Department, Operation New Hope, All Dry Services of SE Jacksonville, and Chartrand Foundation. Their partnership helps ensure the evening not only celebrates Irish culture, but also makes a lasting difference in the community.

Foodies Care has a tradition of uniting the local culinary scene with charitable causes, and Irish Tap & Table continues that mission by celebrating culture while giving back. Proceeds from the event will directly support the work of 6:8 Ministries, ensuring that every shared meal and raised glass contributes to hope and transformation.

Tickets are available now, and space is limited. Guests are encouraged to purchase early to secure their seat at this unique culinary experience.
